Where did successful beaver restoration find the political will? Ben points to large ranchers who have a personal stake, beaver believers, and peoples of the beaver- Is there a role for government?



Some California watersheds host less than 1000 beavers than when trappers pursued them to oblivion. Is it relevant to ask what should the CA beaver population be?
